This course focuses on traditional embroidery techniques as well as machine embroidery. Trainees will develop skills in designing and stitching intricate patterns, working with a variety of fabrics, threads, and traditional materials. The curriculum emphasizes the mastery of decorative embroidery styles used in ceremonial garments and the detailed craftsmanship required for Dralham making. Through this training, learners gain both artistic and technical competencies, enabling them to contribute to the preservation and promotion of Bhutan’s unique textile and craft heritage.
