Trainees will acquire specialized skills in tailoring traditional religious items such as Chenzey Darchang, Chubu Gyeltshen, Table Drapery and monks attire. The curriculum covers the creation of intricate monk’s dress, along with the stitching of religious decorative pieces commonly used in temples and monasteries. Emphasis is placed on achieving technical precision while understanding the cultural and spiritual significance of these garments. By the end of the course, trainees will be proficient in producing high-quality, culturally meaningful attire and religious textiles, ensuring the preservation of Bhutan’s religious dress traditions.
